Holiferm has entered into a 10-year lease for the warehouse at Ocean Trade and Logistics Park.

Legat Owen represented owner Dean Property Group in connection with the transaction, which will generate rental income of £ 375,000 per year. The deal also means that Ocean Park is now fully leased. Other tenants of Ocean Park include Quickhire Events and particle board maker Finsa.

Located near Dock Road in Wallasey, Ocean Park is two miles from junction 1 of the M53 motorway and at the mouth of the East Float Dock and the River Mersey.

Holiferm manufactures environmentally friendly biosurfactants, which are used in personal and household care products, as well as industrial cleaners. The technology behind Holiferm products was developed at the University of Manchester.

“We are extremely excited to build our first full-scale factory in Ocean Park, which given the location has excellent logistics links with suppliers and customers,” said Ben Dolman, General Manager by Holiferm.

“The size of the unit that we have taken allows us to have a rapid expansion capacity on the site, which allows us to accelerate the transition to biosurfactants.

Legat Owen surveyor Rupert Chadwick-Dunbar said: “Bringing Holiferm to the Wirral is a huge blow to the region, which means new jobs and investment and we are delighted to have supported their expansion…

“Dean Property Group has been a long-standing client and we are currently operating at a number of locations, from Birkenhead to North Wales, both agency and professional work. “
